I began my doula journey in 2017, driven by a passion to support women through one of life’s most powerful transitions: birth. But when I became a full-time mama myself, I quickly realized how difficult it was to stay on-call for labor support while raising a young family.

 

Instead of stepping away completely, I found a new way to serve.

I started sharing my doula bag with friends and family—teaching them hands-on comfort techniques and walking them through what to expect during labor. It was simple, empowering, and well-received.

 

That’s when I saw the need for something in between:

Support that’s flexible, affordable, and accessible—without replacing the role of a doula.

 

Labor Bestie was born from that idea. It bridges the gap between going it alone and hiring a doula, offering real tools, trusted guidance, and confidence—no matter where or how you plan to have your baby.

Not every mama can have a doula at their birth, but every mama deserves to feel supported, prepared, and empowered.
